TRAVEL | Bali 2018 | Day 2

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! I'm going to continue blogging about our Bali trip last year. I need to finish these post so that I didn't forget all the details on our trip. This trip was special because it was our first honeymoon. We didn't get to go for a honeymoon right after we got married because we were trying save as much money as we could.

So alhamdulillah, we finally got the chance to go for a honeymoon, after 4 years of marriage. 😁 So let's get back to the post, shall we?

Started the day with some coffee and flavoured milk

Our first destination was Pura Samuan Tiga Temple in Ubud. I'm so sorry if I got the name wrong, there's so many temples there and I couldn't remember the actual name, I googled for the name of this temple so hopefully I got it right. 😁 It was raining when we got there so we had to wait for a few minutes to get in the temple. Most of the photos of us were taken by our driver, Dewa, and we were lucky because he takes quite good photos 😄

Love this photo!

Look at all the small details

Dewa took us for an ATV adventures after that. It was our first time riding an ATV and we really enjoyed it. Do bring spare clothes because you'll get wet especially your pants. We didn't bring any but luckily we didn't get too wet 😆

Very nice weather!

Honestly, some of the trails are quite scary 😂

We were hungry after the ATV so we asked Dewa to bring us to the nearest halal restaurant so we could eat our brunch or lunch. We asked him and he said that this restaurant is halal. We also asked the waiters and they're also saying that they serve halal food only. The moment I got the menu, I saw pork written everywhere in the menu 😅 So we decided not to order any food there, only some drinks. Dewa asked how the food was, we just said it was yummy though we didn't have any 😅

Nice view though

Then, Dewa took us to Tegenungan Waterfall. I didn't go down to the waterfall because there's so many steps 😅 My husband did go down because he wanted to take some pictures. We did spend some time here to relax.

When I take someone's picture, I always guide them, so the pic looks decent.

When my husband takes my picture 😏

Dewa took us to Kopi Luwak Plantation after that. I really love the weather that day, it was so nice! Not too hot and no rain, it was lovely.

I'm going to put a photo of the Luwak poops so please scroll faster if hate photos of animal poops 😆

This set of coffee and tea testers is free of charge. We had to pay for entry but I couldn't remember how much. We did buy a cup of the Luwak coffee but I lost the photo of it 😭 It was quite expensive around RM15 each cup. If you ask me for my honest opinion, I really don't like the taste of it. It tasted soooooooooooooo weird, I don't understand how people are enjoying it. The promoter felt guilty because we didn't like it and suggested that we add some sugar to make it taste better. But we couldn't even have a sip, it's THAT WEIRD.

They have some swings at the plantation. My husband wanted to try it, but not me, I'm afraid of heights 😂 I am not an adventurous person.

What is Bali without the swings 😄 My husband's face though 😂

They also had this nest thing there, which I'm also not brave enough to go in it 😂

Dewa brought us to Mount Batur afterwards so we could have some snacks with view of the mountain. We FINALLY get to have our lunch that day. Oh by the way, these places are not that close to each other, we had to travel around half an hour to 2 hours max to reach to the next destination.

We were starving but it was worth it! I really love the view and the cool breeze here. The view was breathtakingly beautiful. I really miss this place, it was my most favourite place that we went that day 💗

Food was okay and the price was average.

Prawn Spring Rolls

Vegetarian Fried Noodles

Chicken Fried Rice

Dewa then brought us to the Cekingan Rice Terrace. Another beautiful view, SubhanAllah. Bali is full of beautiful places, no wonder a lot of people love Bali. Bali holds a really special place in my heart 💗

I really do love Bali 💗

Someone was happy 😜

I asked Dewa to bring us to a nice Martabak Manis stall before we go back to our hotel. Dewa brought us to Markobar. He said that Markobar has the best Martabak Manis in Bali and he was right, it was sooooo good 😭 We also bought some dinner from Indomaret to eat in the hotel room. The price for the martabak is IDR 80k (around RM25) for the big size with 4 toppings. It was quite cheap though.

Ya Allah I miss this so much! 😪 The one we have in Malaysia doesn't taste as good. Seriously, this one was so soft and rich with butter and all the toppings. The cheese topping is my favourite! If you happen to be in Bali, you need to try this!

Indomaret's Mac and Cheese was quite good. Or maybe I was hungry?

They have some unique chips flavours over there

And then we called it a day. Thank you so much for spending your time reading my humble blog 💗
