HAUL | 2017 Collective Haul!


Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

I went crazy these past few months and bought so many new makeup. Colourpop, Sephora MY and Hermo had some sale going on and it was so hard to resist! Some of them were ridiculously cheap, I mean who could resist cheap makeup? 😁 Without any further ado, let's begin with the haul!


Colourpop


Now let me get this straight, all these weren't bought at one time, I bought them in batches (so I won't freak out on how much money I've spent on makeup 😂) By the way guys, I just knew that we can now insert emojis in our posts, I'm so yesterday but whatever, I'm too excited. Now I don't know how to write posts without using emojis anymore 😅 Okay, sorry for the babbles. Colourpop had a "3 for $10" for eyeshadows and "3 for $12" for lip products promotion going on May I believe and I just had to place an order. I ordered 11 eyeshadows and 4 Ultra Blotted Lips in total and they're so worth it. The orders took about 2 to 3 weeks to arrive to Malaysia and I think that's quite fast considering they're from the US. Oh and also Colourpop offered free worldwide shipping with no minimum order and that's the main reason why I decided to order more 😁

I really love the formula of the Ultra Blotted Lip, super lightweight and the medium pigmentation is what I love the most! It gives more of a natural look, but if you like bold or super pigmented lip colour, go for the Ultra Matte Lip. As for the eyeshadows, I think they're really good! I've tried for several times already and they're super pigmented and easy to blend as well. Good job Colourpop, I am so happy with my purchase 💓

Drugstores

Now, many of these were impulse purchases. I casually went to my nearest Watsons and saw these new Essence My Must Haves eyeshadows and I freaked out because I've been waiting for them to be released for so long! I went ahead and bought the colours that (I think) I don't have in my collection, the empty palettes and the bronzer. The Baby Bright blush was randomly bought at Family Mart in Sunway Velocity Mall because it reminds me of my Krabi trip 😂 The Catrice blush was bought on my trip to JB and I was so happy that I found it there because it was sold out almost everywhere in KL.

NYX
I went to NYX opening day in Sogo KL last month because they offered free gift with any purchase. I was expecting to get cash vouchers like Sephora does but no, they didn't give any vouchers 😂 I was in line for about 40 minutes and ended up not buying much because nothing attracts me. I just bought the NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder and got the Soft Matte Lip Cream for free. The other two items were bought during Hermo online sale.

Innisfree

I saw a newly opened Innisfree store when I was strolling in Sogo a few months back and of course I had to check it out. I had no intentions on buying anything but then I saw the eye primer and the lip concealer 😆 I am running out of eye primer so I decided to try this one, plus it's really affordable.

Now, this is my best purchase of this year. The first time I tried it, I was shook. And after months of using it, I still think that it is much better than the original Beauty Blender! 😮 Good job Breena Beauty! It's 1/3 cheaper than the Beauty Blender but it works wonders.

Sephora

Sephora had a crazy sale on this Kat Von D palette a few months back and it was only RM60 from RM200 something. I'm so glad that my friend Inaz (@inazeyy on Instagram) told me about the sale, or else I wouldn't know about it. I was lucky that I got the palette before it was sold out. But due to the overwhelming orders, Sephora kinda messed up and sent wrong products "randomly". I got the Shade + Light Contour Palette instead of the Shade + Light Eyeshadow Palette that I ordered. But again, I was lucky because this palette wasn't on sale so yayyy.

Focallure


Now this older Focallure products, the latest ones are more awesome and prettier than these. The singles don't come in a compact anymore, they come in pans that you can insert in a palette. But the latest products that I'm most excited about are the palettes as you can see below 👇

Attractive Scenery


This brand is a China brand, made in the PRC. But don't be afraid because most of the branded cosmetics are also made in China. You can get this palette from my online shop beautandthebeast.my. This palette is affordable and very good quality. It's personally one of my favourite palettes now!
