Review: theBalm Nude 'Tude Palette
This is the first product I bought from theBalm and I never tried any of their products before. I know they got bunch of good products but they're just too expensive for me. Until recently, Sa Sa offered a 30% off on some of theBalm products. And I decided to buy the palette because it was pretty affordable to me and I've been wanting it for so long. So here is my review.

Any Sa Sa outlet and theBalm (I'm not sure but I think they ship internationally).

The theBalm Nude 'tude comes in a slim magnetic cardboard palette. It comes in two different versions, 'Feeling Naughty' and 'Feeling Nice'. I bought the 'Feeling Naughty' because Sa Sa didn't have the other version. It consists of 12 gorgeous wearable eye shadows with a dual-ended shadow/liner brush and weighs about 11.08g / 0.382 oz. . Most of the shadows are shimmery but 4 of them are matte which I really like because I'm a sucker for matte eye shadows!
Dual-ended shadow/liner brush
Sassy - A frosted white colour
Stubborn - A peachy-pink with silver shimmer
Selfish - Silver-ish taupe with rainbow shimmer
Sophisticated - A dark brown with a hint of grey and beautiful rainbow shimmer in it
Sexy - Deep matte burgundy, one of my favourite colour in the palette
Serious - Matte black
Snobby - Yellowish gold
Stand-offish - Very similar to Stubborn, which is a peachy-pink but slightly lighter
Sultry - Matte camel colour
Seductive - Brown with gold shimmer
Silly - Dark brown with copper shimmer. This is my favourite eye shadow in the pan because of the copper shimmer. So beautiful!
Sleek - Matte brown black

So, I was just window shopping at Sa Sa AEON Bandaraya Melaka last few weeks, and randomly looking at all their products. And I saw theBalm products on the shelves next to me. The sale assistant suggested me the blushes but I don't know, I was just not really into blushes at that moment because I saw the Nude 'tude palette and instantly fell in love with it. Plus, it was on sale for only RM89. That's crazy cheap to me! The first colours in the palette that caught my eye were Sexy and Stubborn. I really really love those 2 colours that they might be the reason I bought this palette.
But the main reasons I fell in love with this palette are that these eye shadows are buttery smooth and super pigmented when I first swatch them. And it comes with 12 amazingly beautiful eye shadows that I don't mind wearing them every single day. If you're looking for an alternative for Naked or Naked 2 palettes, this palette might be the best one because it is cheaper and has a really good quality.

Super pigmented
Long-lasting
Wearable neutral colours
Comes with a pretty good liner brush

The shadow brush isn't that good
Can only be found at Sa Sa

Yes, I would recommend it to all neutral eye shadows lover!
So that's the end of my review. And I'm really sorry for the condition of the eye shadows in the pictures because I just can't wait to use them. :/ Thank you so much for reading this post and stay tuned for more reviews! :)
p/s : Credits to Nadhirah Ismailjee for the beautiful photos!
Love,

I feel like naked palatte does better job than this. Some of the colours kinda chalky to me. I dunno.. but I guess it's cheaper than Naked so shouldn't complain much.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried any of the Naked palettes but heard so many good things about them!
